At TEAO Canada, volunteers are an essential part of bringing our vision to life. Whether you have professional experience, creative skills, a passion for community engagement, or simply a desire to make a difference, there are many ways to get involved.
We welcome individuals who want to contribute their time, skills, and perspectives to help strengthen trauma-responsive, community-based mental health care and accessible, peer-led support.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
We are currently welcoming volunteers interested in supporting the following areas:
Rural Community Outreach Team Member: Support community outreach, build relationships with local organizations, share resources, and help coordinate workshops and engagement activities to improve access to trauma-responsive support in rural communities.
Director of Marketing & Communications: Provide strategic leadership and governance oversight for TEAO’s marketing, communications, brand development, and public engagement initiatives.
Social Media & Content Creation: Create engaging social media content, graphics, videos, and digital stories that increase awareness of TEAO’s work, programs, and mental health advocacy initiatives.
